No experience necessary. This discounted combination class brings together two of our most popular courses in a single day — the Utah & Arizona Multi-State Concealed Carry Class and the Intro to Handgun course. It’s the complete starting point for anyone who wants both the legal knowledge to carry and the hands-on skill to do it safely.

If your goal is to carry a firearm and be genuinely capable of defending yourself and your loved ones, this is the class to take. You’ll leave with your concealed carry permit paperwork done and real live-fire experience under your belt — the knowledge and the skill, in one day.

How the day runs

The class is split into two parts:

• Morning — Classroom: The full Multi-State Concealed Carry curriculum, covering firearm safety, use-of-force law, carry firearm and holster selection, and Utah’s carry laws. Your permit paperwork, fingerprinting, and photo are all completed here.
• One-hour lunch break
• Afternoon — Live fire on the range: The Intro to Handgun course, where you’ll put safe handling, loading, and shooting fundamentals into practice with live rounds.

What to bring

• A handgun and at least one magazine (limited firearms available if you don’t have one — RSVP as soon as possible to reserve one)
• 100 rounds of ammunition
• Eye and ear protection (electronic hearing protection recommended)
• A valid driver’s license or ID (required for the permit paperwork)

What’s included

Because this combines both courses, your registration covers everything from the concealed carry class — instruction, all required BCI paperwork, fingerprinting, and photo — plus the full live-fire Intro to Handgun session.

Note: state permit fees are paid separately to BCI — $52 for the Utah CFP, $60 for Arizona.
